From seed to seedling


The best time for sowing is spring. However, if you can't wait, like me, you can use a mini greenhouse to bring the sowing forward. I always start sowing the new hybrids around January 10th. The mini greenhouse is equipped with a heat mat, light, and a fan. Germination varies considerably and takes about two to four weeks. Gradually, everything becomes greener and greener. Around April, the seedlings are moved to the regular greenhouse and grow alongside the new Epi-hybrid young plants.

Wait patiently until your own hybrids bloom.



It can take up to five years or more for your own hybrids to flower. Those lucky enough to have a greenhouse can shorten this time somewhat. My own hybrids from 2020 have finally developed their first flower buds this year. I'm very excited to see what they turn out to be...
